Mr. Schulman has over 40 years experience as a developer of real estate projects. He has developed more than $2 billion dollars of mixed-use, office, retail, hotel, condominium, industrial, single family and multi-family residential, and major land projects in the Southwestern United States. Mr. Schulman has been named one of the 100 most influential people in changing Las Vegas.

As Chairman of Montecito Communities-Nv, LLC, Mr. Schulman is responsible for the overall management of existing real estate investments and positioning the company to team with private and institutional capital partners to take advantage of future strategic acquisition opportunities.

Recently, Mr. Schulman has completed several premier retail centers including: (1) Montecito Marketplace - located in the heart of the 330-acre Montecito Town Center that he planned and developed; (2) Cheyenne Point – Las Vegas’ first major Hispanic grocery anchored shopping center; and (3) Tenaya Village. In addition to shopping center development, Mr. Schulman is currently overseeing the planning and development of master planned communities in Arizona and California.

He pioneered major non-gaming hotels in Las Vegas with the world-renowned Alexis Park Hotel, followed by the St. Tropez Hotel. Previously he owned Schulman Homes, where he developed some of Las Vegas’s premiere single family and multi-family communities.

Prior to relocating to Las Vegas in 1986, Mr. Schulman developed 5 million square feet of commercial, industrial, apartment and single-family housing projects in California. He was one of the pioneers of office condominiums and luxury residential condominiums in Southern California. The Palisades Condominiums still ranks as one of Southern California’s outstanding condominium developments. Mr. Schulman was active in redevelopment projects in San Fernando and El Paso and HUD apartment projects. Mr. Schulman is a Certified Public Accountant and a board member of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate.
